I know you have seen the news of the missing Black teens in DC. What you may not know is not a new epidemic but has been going on for years. Since 2008, Black and Missing Foundation Inc. has been working tirelessly to reunite missing people of color with their families. On June 3, 2017, Black and Missing Foundation will host its 5th Annual 5K at the National Harbor in Ft. Washington, MD. This is the only fundraiser the organization hosts, as it is working diligently throughout the year to solve missing person cases (while holding full time jobs, being wives and mothers). All fund raised go towards search and rescue efforts, educating communities, distributing flyers and paying for burial services. BAMFI has helped reunite over 100 families, but cannot continue to do so without the support of individuals like you supporting the cause.
